[discuss] What if we started a permacomputing web forum? INTRO THREAD 👋

Hey 👋 Greetings from Amsterdam @ Waag Futurelab and the 2 day permacomputing.net wiki and community edit-a-thon. In the past two days we’ve been working on various aspects of the pmc infra and discourse. One of thing that we’ve been pondering about for a while is how to make the discussion and practice more accessible. If you’ve been following the #permacomputing fedi hashtag, you may remember that the idea to host a web forum has already been mentioned a few times. In the last months we’ve been exchanging a lot with cblgh regarding their minimal forum cerca, already used within the merveilles community. Anyway, long story short, we have tested it, submitted a couple of patches, and yesterday we thought we were kind of ready to go public about all this.

So here it is. A minimal pmc web forum. What could possibly go wrong? :)
